Welcoming Our New Clinical Intern: Kelsey Wyman

Steffen Counseling Services is thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our team, Kelsey Wyman, a dedicated and compassionate clinical intern who brings a wealth of experience and a unique therapeutic approach to our practice. Our clinical interns offer low cost, sliding scale therapy starting at just $60 per session.

In today’s fast-paced and highly individualistic society, finding a sense of connection can be a challenging journey, particularly for those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma or PTSD, and grief. We understand that navigating these struggles requires a supportive and empathetic guide, and we believe Kelsey is the perfect fit for the task- their unique background includes social work training at the University of Washington, and they have a wealth of knowledge on the topic of the mind/body connection.

Kelsey is committed to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of various issues, including relationship challenges, identity exploration, women’s and men’s issues, and self-esteem concerns. Their passion extends to providing whole-hearted support to the LGBTQ+ communities, sex workers, and individuals exploring alternative relationship styles such as ENM, polyamory, and friendships. Their intuitive therapeutic style values the inherent wisdom within each client. They are not afraid to ask direct questions, aiming to guide you toward a better understanding of yourself or your relationship.

As a practitioner, Kelsey employs integrative methods and emphasizes embodied skill-building within a trauma-informed therapeutic container. Each session is approached with a combination of presence and curiosity, creating the safety to hold space for the innate healing parts within you that are eager to emerge.

To schedule an intake session, simply request an intake appointment on the client portal. Choose a time that suits your schedule, and if you have any questions beforehand, feel free to email Kelsey directly.
