About Me

I believe anyone can benefit from therapy-regardless of whether things are good or challenging. Meeting with someone who is on your side and who wants the best for you can be incredibly empowering. I strive to work collaboratively, and together we will work to make your goals a reality. To me, the most successful outcomes require a healthy fit between the client and the therapist, and openness, respect, and effort from both myself and you. My approach depends on the situation, and through my education I have come to understand the systems at play, common patterns, and effective interventions. While this can be extremely helpful and validating, I also understand that the individual experience varies for everyone-it is my goal to cater to you and your problems within your unique context. I know therapy can be intimidating, but I view it just as I do any other healthcare service. Taking care of your mind is crucial to overall health and well-being, and I consider it a great honor to be serving in this role today.

What You Can Expect

I see my clients as the experts of their own lives and the writers of their own stories. I have experience working with people who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, men’s issues, and ADHD. My style is conversational and warm, and my training is rooted in systems theory and research based interventions that include the individualized, trauma informed, client centered treatment, within the context of culture, family, and relationships. I recognize that each situation is unique, and therefore I approach my work using a strengths-based model, and I dedicate time to continuous learning on a weekly basis.
