About Me

Pronouns: She/Her

Hi, I’m Bella, and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Seattle Pacific University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and am currently completing my clinical training as a therapy intern at SCS.

My background in psychology and my time in graduate school have shaped the way I understand mental health, not only as an individual experience, but as something deeply connected to our relationships, families, and experiences. I’m especially interested in helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and navigate life’s challenges.

While at the University of Washington, I gained experience working directly with survivors of sexual trauma through psychological research. This experience reinforced for me the importance of creating spaces where people feel heard, respected, and able to share their experiences at their own pace.

I was born and raised in Washington. Outside of being a student therapist, I’m a big reader, a proud cat person, and love exploring Seattle. I value curiosity, authenticity, and connection, and I aim to bring those same qualities into my work with clients.

What You Can Expect

Coming to therapy can be a big step, and I want to make the process feel as comfortable as possible. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy, and you don’t have to know exactly what you want to talk about. We can start wherever you are and work together from there.

I value creating a judgment-free space where you can be open and honest about what you’re experiencing. I approach therapy collaboratively, meaning that I want us to work together to understand what you’re going through and what you hope

to get out of therapy. I don’t see my role as telling you what you should or shouldn’t do, but rather as helping you explore your experiences, perspectives, and options.

Some approaches I enjoy using in my work include Solution-Focused Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I appreciate Solution-Focused Therapy’s emphasis on strengths, possibilities, and the changes you want to make, while EFT’s focus on emotions, attachment, and relationships helps us understand the patterns that can develop between people.

As a student therapist, I’m continuing to learn and develop my clinical style. I believe there is no one size fits all approach to therapy, and every person brings their own experiences, needs, and goals into the room. I strive to approach each person with curiosity and openness, and my hope is that therapy feels like a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward meaningful change.
