About Me

Pronouns: She/Her

I am a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Seattle Pacific University, currently completing my clinical training under the supervision of Brittany Steffen, a Washington State–licensed LMFT at Steffen Counseling Services. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai and bring over 15 years of experience in creative copywriting and communication, which deeply informs how I work with clients in therapy.

My background has taught me how powerful language can be—and how often what is spoken does not fully capture what is felt or intended. I help clients find words for emotions that may feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to express. I often use analogies, metaphors, and imagery to make complex emotional experiences easier to understand and talk about.

As a student therapist, I am training to work with individuals, couples, and families. My graduate coursework includes family systems theory, multicultural counseling, trauma-informed care, lifespan development, ethics, and clinical assessment. All services I provide are conducted under clinical supervision in accordance with Washington State and WAC guidelines.

What You Can Expect

I believe therapy begins with being truly heard—by someone who listens not only to your words, but also to the quiet spaces between them. I strive to offer a steady, supportive environment where you can bring what feels heavy, unspoken, or hard to articulate.

Therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis. Many people seek therapy because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, or because their questions have grown louder than their answers. I see therapy as an invitation to meet yourself with curiosity and compassion, and to better understand your emotional and relational patterns.

My work is guided by Family Systems Therapy, drawing from Bowen Family Systems Theory, Satir’s Experiential approach, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I value collaboration, authenticity, and warmth, and I work alongside clients to support insight, clarity, and meaningful change.
