As a queer and chronically ill-identifying therapist, my focus is on helping adolescents, adults, and couples reconnect with their authentic selves, reclaim their personal agency, and find greater ease and satisfaction in their relationships. I am deeply curious about how stress and trauma affect the body and nervous system, and I work to support clients in experiencing more embodied freedom and healing. Understanding that people’s lives are shaped by family systems, community, and cultural narratives, I take a systemic approach to therapy that honors those influences.
Clients come to therapy facing a wide range of challenges, including relationship and family conflict, nervous system dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, body image concerns, life transitions, and grief. Many bring experiences related to chronic illness, where I help them navigate medical trauma, diagnosis anxiety, and the unique aspects of living with ongoing health conditions. I’m also expanding my expertise through training in psychogastroenterology, which explores how mental health and gut health intersect.
I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community around issues of identity, intimacy, and family, and I affirm diverse and alternative relationship structures. I approach every client with cultural humility, antiracism, and a deep respect for the rich variety of human experience.
