I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. In my experience, when we take an honest look at what makes us who we are and focus on our goals for ourselves we are able to achieve any change we can imagine. I inherently believe that healing is possible for everyone. And let’s face it, life is far too short to stay stuck- whether that’s staying stuck in harmful relationships, stuck in grief, or stuck in anger. Instead, you deserve to live a life that leaves you excited to wake up every morning. As a clinical social worker, I enjoy the opportunity to support, collaborate with, and empower individuals seeking to live a life of wellness. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere where you can explore beliefs, values, and life patterns that either help or hinder you in meeting your goals. So often our present thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are driven by our past. Together we can work to identify coping skills based on your individual wisdom and strengths to overcome life challenges and help you make steps towards the life you would like to live. I look forward to being able to support you on your journey!
What You Can Expect
I take a direct approach to working with my clients, and don’t shy away from asking more difficult questions- through these difficult conversations change and progress is made. My clients say that they appreciate my humor, my genuine and unfiltered responses, and that I take a relational and systems based approach to their treatment. My style is eclectic, and trauma informed.
